Now I'm worried. Why? Well see what you think of this. This week we received two carrier bags full of crap. I apologise for these pictures being on the "huh" but I don't know how to turn them around!
In total we received 8 large posters, 12 medium posters, 2 small posters, 12 long posters, 8 fridge magnets, 16 costers, 4 key rings and 2 mugs. They now clutter up the office because no-one likes to throw them away.
My question is, why not spend this squandered money on flood defences? Or is this too simple for them to understand?

Eva my worry is that if we DID have a flood would someone man these pesky telephones or would we be put into an "operator free" menu queue?
Does "staying dry" means the same as "sober" aims? If that is the case, forget it.

We received similar crap about *What to do if we get attacked by terrorists* There was nothing there that could have helped us if we were (that wasn't just common sense).
So it doesn't surprise me in the least that you got all this bumph.
Its like you said... they'd rather like to waste money on rubbish than on the flood defences.

Totally understand where you're coming from. Money is spent frivolously on things we simply don't need. When it comes to necessities, it is usually the case that funding is in short supply.
